History: The child of a Ploughman, who enjoyed hunting, Katherine was taken on many hunting expeditions. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Katherine alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the east were limited. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Cloak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has achieved small success as a Miller.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and expand his business

Description: This slender woman stands about 5'6". She very much looks the part of a Guard. Her red hair is wavy and long. Her eyes are blue.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hadwisa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hadwisa. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Roywyn was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and doesn't want to be a jeweler and was forced into it by her family

Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Paela was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Nagrette was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Nagrette abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a Herbalist soon after.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
