History: She was born in a small mountains village. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Stableman. He now owns his own business.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

Through the years after Skak was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Kûga hails from a village terrorized by orcs. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Kûga was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Hunter born in the past three hundred years. The war was a terrible time for him, and Vondal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Vondal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gifted student he started as a Fortune-teller, but he got bored and became a Hunter. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
