Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thomas embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born in the south to a Seamstress, Thomas learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has achieved small success as a Seamstress.

He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His blonde hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Kipper hails from a village terrorized by giants. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Kipper never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and to share knowledge with the world

History: She got into the Map Maker business at a young age. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's also a talented Weaver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Through the years after Qualen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Qualen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
