Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. During her travels, Shifting and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shifting discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Shifting fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
