Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. His black crest is matted, messy, and big. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Stableman business.
History: Shamash was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is typically in his Assassin uniform. His brown hair has been sun bleached extensively. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His childhood dream was to be a Scribe, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Assassin.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears dull blue sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed falchion, just in case. He keeps his auburn hair in a pixie cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: He got into the Tailor business at a young age. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: Shax lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She now owns her own business.
Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
