History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Nija was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now owns her own business.

History: Tethren was born with his father's beautiful face. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and a rival would like him out of the picture
