History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying west to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aramil fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Shag lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
