His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is a Layabout first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Althaea is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in the north. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. A freak accident while working with his Navigator father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Varis isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. Varis is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Oblar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Weaver, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Locksmith and was forced into it by his family; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Thea's homeland. Thea decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
