Description: She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat. She is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around her ears. Her eyes are green and she is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Portia was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Portia's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: Born to a Merchant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'2". He is wearing a long, tan, dusty cloak. He has wavy white hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Aust liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is obsessed with her god.
History: Callie was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Callie and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Pikar hails from a village terrorized by drow. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Pikar has worked very hard to control his curse. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Akra is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her first spouse was a Beggar, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
