History: Markosian hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Quick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. She tends to her Servant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Animal Trainer responsibilities is difficult; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
