Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Katherine fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Through the years after Vezera was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Vezera's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Vezera and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Dyer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Reeza lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chem grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion

Personality: Mordai is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a Merchant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her childhood dream was to be a Banker, but she was a colossal failure. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
