History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her druidic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. After a long history of fighting, River and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
