Description: A 6'2" southern woman, she wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. Her rusty crest is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her gold eyes peer out from beneath her feathered green hat.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his sickle, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. He keeps his gold crest in a flapper bob. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gold eyes.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: Arjhan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Masseuse. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He takes great joy in being the best Armorer in town.
History: He was born in a small island village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Nil took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. He tends to his Armorer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and regain custody of her daughter

Personality: Chenna is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Chenna is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Her hair is long and blonde with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small brown clips. Her eyes are likewise blue. Her teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: Galiena was born with her father's beautiful face. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: She's in love; and retire the richest woman in the east
