Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears skinny pants and wears a green and pastel robe with the hood down. His brown hair is lengthy. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are red.
Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Marbas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: The child of a Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Marbas was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Marbas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: This man typically wears green cloth garments or leather armor. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized sapphire on his left hand. He has moderate length silver hair. His eyes are a pleasant gold.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nicor does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When Nicor reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is greedy

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is afraid of women and trembles around them
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Glim reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.
History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Namfoodle was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sculptor. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.
History: He was born into a rich family. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Alberich was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shipwright. He has achieved small success as a Shipwright.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His chestnut hair is singed and shortened. His gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Astar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
