History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Yurgunn grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Tod is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tod was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. Roywyn enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Unvera will drive conversation. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Banker. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Banker.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Banker responsibilities is difficult; and expand her business
