Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she wears a brown tunic with black highlights, and long red pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. Her violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.
History: Helgret lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Helgret was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.
History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Mordai does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Cartwright. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.
History: He was born in a small forest village. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and expand his business

Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Ploughman. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere.
