History: Born in the north to a Farmer, Bathin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Tyna was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Bowyer. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
