Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Rolen was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Mastema's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Carter profession.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A freak accident while working with her Carter mother left her crippled. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mastema fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Hethress was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Rael was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Rael decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

History: She was born in the south. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Locksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Locksmith work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has worked as a Locksmith like her father before her.
