His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

History: Jebeddo hails from a village terrorized by giants. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants.

Description: This late middle aged man very much looks the part of a Painter and is in decent physical shape. He has moderate length golden hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Pallabar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Pallabar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He struck the Painter job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and expand his business

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Sumnes isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Sumnes was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and retire the richest woman in the north

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Wymar was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sage. After a long history of fighting, Wymar and his spouse have recently divorced.
