History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat, and he perpetually has his quarterstaff ready. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hupe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His fur, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burgell embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Burgell was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Apothecary, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by his family.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is greedy
