History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fabien grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fabien. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Aline was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Aline's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Aline and her spouse have recently divorced.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Sage business.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Umpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Ella is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She is a Yochlol in disguise. Ella was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ella decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
