History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature flail.

History: Nelkin was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nelkin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nelkin. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Azaki was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Azaki was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Layabout. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has achieved small success as a Interpreter.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and wants her loneliness to end

Description: This malnourished woman wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She has slicked back auburn hair. Her half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Griselda is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Griselda lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Melech grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
