Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

She found a children's book about a Dragonborn Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Description: This man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He has a very tight haircut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Nil took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Arava lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Painter mother left her crippled. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Damien was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
