History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kody grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His hair is auburn and very short. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He takes great joy in being the best Bellfounder in town.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bellfounder for hire.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears dull pastel sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed kukri, just in case. Her gray fur is braided into rings. Her eyes are likewise blue. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Ella hails from a village terrorized by giants. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She has never given up on her music dream.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.
