Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dagnal grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dagnal. She has achieved small success as a Navigator.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Dazzazn was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Layabout. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Quarion was born with his mother's beautiful face. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Being a Shipwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance.
