Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Heian reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She found a children's book about a Gnome Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Lagazi was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Farmer. After a long history of fighting, Lagazi and her spouse have recently divorced.
