History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born in a small island village. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Five fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, John is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
