History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the east were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
