She worked as a Weaver, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. Glim was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Layabout. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has achieved small success as a Performer.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing dancing.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She works hard and plays hard.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born to a Map Maker, his father struggled to pay the bills. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
