History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Helen grew up listening to her mother's many stories. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She wears skinny pants and wears a tan and black robe with the hood down. Her blonde hair is well kept. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.
History: She was born in the south. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by her family; and she has a crush on the local knight

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty pastel coat over it. Her fur, while still mostly gray, has prominent grey streaks. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.
History: Great lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: She was born in a small desert village. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Body Guard for the past few years.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a black costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso. She keeps her long black hair kept up in a rat tail. She has blue eyes.
Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Orc in existence. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: She was raised in a plains tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Vanchu took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor she uses now. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: To protect her home; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears just a blue suit. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are a pleasant green.
Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Being a Gardener kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: She is typically in her Carpenter uniform. She has done her best to style her blonde hair to look like a famous performer. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Trym grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Trym. She bought a trident and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
