History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Silent grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Silent. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ethereal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and revenge

History: Ratlûg lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Shipwright who has hired her part-time. Arava is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Arava was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Arava's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shipwright.
