Personality: Vanchu wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Servant and was forced into it by her family; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Flame's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
