History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Mumpena is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Interpreter, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Bagga was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bagga fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Torinn was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Animal Trainer. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Maegan is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Maegan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she's looking for her big break
