History: He was born into a rich family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Juliana grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Juliana. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Pearl was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Pearl alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Rael never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: The child of a Junk Dealer, who enjoyed hunting, Gaaki was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
