History: Bucklal hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Eberdeb was born with his father's beautiful face. Through the years after Eberdeb was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Eberdeb's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the south to a Mortician, Creega learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Creega abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears dark leathers with embroidery. Her brown hair is singed and shortened. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants revenge against drow; and a deep hatred of drow

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Elegant is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Elegant was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Elegant liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to reunite with her absent father
