History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Harbek alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Tanner for hire.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Dyer; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Half-Elven culture. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Verna was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.
