History: He got into the Tailor business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Ploughman, but he was a colossal failure. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. One day when Baern was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Baern was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carpenter and was forced into it by his family.

Description: This woman dresses like a well dressed Soapmaker does, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a Courier, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cecily grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cecily. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Description: He wears a yellow vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His white leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his yellow boots flare out at the collars. He carries a battered scimitar and tarnished rapier as well. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the north to a Soapmaker, Gilbert learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She wears her brown hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ranala fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
