Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nalral grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. His skin is dark but he possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His hair is blonde and very short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Delebean took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and money/treasure

Description: This malnourished woman is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She keeps her long red crest kept up in a rat tail. Her skin is flawless and her gold eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Pogranix is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: Pogranix hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and regain custody of her daughter

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She plays an instrument quite well.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She bought a bastard sword and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: 4'11" and muscular, this southern woman wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with grey colored cloaks and clothing. Her long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ella embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.
History: Ella was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When Ella reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Barrister. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
History: Gerard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and to unite with his sister

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.
History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Gaaki wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.
History: She was born in the west. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Description: With grey face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a black coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. His blonde hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are amber and beady.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Rûg was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Rûg's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to get a good night's sleep
