History: Aline was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At some point she was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Serpent is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Serpent hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and she feels kind of lost in life

It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
