History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theodoric was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Hunter, but he got bored and became a Navigator. He became a Navigator soon after.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Through the years after Astaro was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Astaro's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
