History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Nim was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Nim took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Born in the east to a Cartwright, Tomi learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dain grew up listening to his father's many stories.
