Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kansif embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Orcs. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Guard but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Kansif lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is wearing a long, green, dusty cloak. His hair is silver and curly. This black eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Balam was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Balam took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now.
