History: Crampernap was born with his mother's beautiful face. Crampernap abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. History: She was raised in a island tribe. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

History: Osah lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by giants. He married young, but lost his spouse to giants. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
