Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hamil embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Hamil was born with his mother's beautiful face. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and doesn't want to be a glassblower and was forced into it by his family

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

History: Shivering hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and many illithids want him driven away

Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hadarai does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in a small island village. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Hadarai and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Fortune-teller. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Fortune-teller but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and balancing his hectic life and new fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult
