History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Veloptima reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Veloptima was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.
