After coming to the age of reason, Merla took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her childhood dream was to be a Banker, but she was a colossal failure. She struck the Baker job and began her own company from there.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Nagrette was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
