Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Maiathah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bella embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She takes great joy in being the best Adventurer in town.

History: Bella lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Adventurer work with an outfit from a few towns over.
