Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing violet cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. She is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around her ears. She has gray eyes.
Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.
History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Through the years after Valanthe was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Valanthe's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: She is dressed in an above average manner, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'2" when asserting herself. Her orange fur is smooth and relatively long. Her eyes are blue and catlike.
Personality: Quick hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her singing career. She is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Quick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Her gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Performer born in the past three hundred years. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: Born in the south to a Performer, Gunnloda learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has taken up work as a Performer and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.
