History: Born in the south to a Mercenary, Nutae learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nutae fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She usually wears her white robe and has her greatsword always slung over her shoulder. Her black hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Merla took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greatsword and armor she uses now. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Merla was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family.
