His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Dwarven culture. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Faran lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. His hair is long and white with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
